Request / Brief
There was a substantial body of content on hand: episodes recorded with dozens of experts under the headings of nutrition, movement, psychology and mental exercises. The brief was to turn that body of content into a streaming platform — one that runs on membership and subscription, and lets viewers pick up where they left off. The critical constraint was that viewers had to be able to watch on their phone, on their computer and on the living-room television. So the result had to be not three separate projects but three faces of a single system: content entered once, visible on all of them.
Work done
At the center of the work is one decision: enter the content once, and make it work on every screen.
Brand — The platform's visual language was defined in one place and applied the same way on every surface: web, iOS, Android, the app icon and the store listings. When a viewer sees the app in the store and then arrives at the site, they meet the same brand — in a multi-platform product this consistency doesn't happen by itself; it has to be built.
Service infrastructure — We built the service layer first; content, membership, subscription and viewing data sit behind a layered architecture. Web, iOS and Android consume the same service: not three products written separately, but three faces of one system. A new episode, a new instructor or a new category is entered once in the panel and goes live on all three platforms at once.
Mobile — The iOS and Android apps were built around continuity of the viewing experience: resume where you left off, favorites, new-content notifications. Watching on the television screen was also covered; for a viewing platform, the living-room screen is not a channel you can do without.
Interface — The same content has to behave differently on different screens: a list navigated one-handed on a phone, a grid navigated with a remote on a television. Each platform was designed separately for the way it is used; the brand language is shared, the interaction changes.
