Brand Building Web Development UI/UX Design
Vita Medya — Brand Identity and Agency Website
Request / Brief
Vita Medya is an advertising agency, which means it has to demonstrate on itself the very thing it sells to clients. The brief had two layers: first settle how the agency would be positioned and what voice it would speak in, then build a site that carries it. The site was not to be a corporate business card but a shop window for the work: projects and references had to lead, and the quality of the agency's production had to register on the first screen. The agency's own team had to be able to update the content.
Work done
Vita Medya is an advertising agency, which means it has to demonstrate on itself the very thing it sells to clients.
Brand — Positioning first: we settled how the agency would be positioned, which work it would lead with, and the language it would use to talk about it. The brand voice came out of that, and the site was built on top of the positioning rather than the other way round.
Web — The structure was laid out so the agency can sell its own work: services, projects, references and the blog were each handled separately. The stack was kept light and free of any page builder, so adding content stays with the agency's own team.
Interface — On an agency site the first screen is the portfolio itself. We chose a dark, cinematic base with a prominent showreel area, so a visitor sees the production quality before reading a word. The project and reference archive was kept scannable, because a prospective client is usually looking for work in a sector like their own.
