Request / Brief
EgeceTV published content; this brief was different — moving a personalised, one-to-one training process into an app. The user would go through an assessment, be assigned to an expert instructor based on the result, and progress through weekly mental and physical exercises. In a programme like this the real risk is behavioural, not technical: after a few weeks people drift away from the process. So the app was expected not just to show content but to keep the user on track. It had to ship on two platforms at once, while instructor assignment, the session calendar and content management would run from a single panel.
Work done
Dep is a different job from EgeceTV: there, content is published; here, a personalised process is carried through. The user goes through an assessment, is assigned to an instructor based on the result, and progresses through weekly exercises.
Brand — As the second product of the same institution, it needed a balance with two ends: looking like it belongs under the same roof, but not being confused with EgeceTV. Dep's own visual identity was built to carry that distinction, and applied the same way on every surface, including the app, the store listings and notifications.
Service infrastructure — The two mobile platforms use a single service layer. Instructor assignments, sessions, the content library and user progress are managed from the panel; when the instructor team grows, there is no need to touch the system.
Mobile — The iOS and Android apps were built around the process: the session calendar, one-to-one calls, progress tracking and completed steps in one place. In a programme like this the real risk is behavioural, not technical — people drift away after a few weeks. That's why the notification flow became a core part of the work; reminders are not random but tied to the step the user is on.
Interface — The principle was that every time the user opens the app, they find the answer to a single question: what do I need to do now? At the center of the screen is not a menu but the next step. In a long programme, not getting lost matters more than the number of features.
