A restaurant in Kırklareli that has been grilling köfte for four generations. There were always customers queuing in the dining room, but almost none online: people asking about the menu called by phone, and those wanting to order takeaway tied up the same line. When searched on Google, all they found was a map listing and a few photos. The brief was clear — a site that takes menu and ordering questions off the phone and can also tell the story of a 45-year-old place.
Work done
We started by watching the ordering flow: most incoming calls came down to three questions — what's on the menu, how much is it, and are you open?
Web — The site was structured to answer those three questions on the first screen; opening hours, phone and WhatsApp are fixed above the fold. The menu became a real page split into categories instead of a PDF: readable on a phone, and readable by Google too. Restaurant schema, opening hours and location details were added for local search. On the infrastructure side we used the same lightweight setup we run ourselves — no page builder; menu updates are made from the admin panel.
Interface — Most visitors are on their phones, and hungry: the design was built from the phone up, not from the desktop down. We added a WhatsApp button that stays on every screen for orders; messaging instead of calling doesn't interrupt the kitchen's work. The restaurant's own photos replaced stock images — the trust of a 45-year-old local business can only be conveyed through its own frames.

Outcome
The site is live; menu and ordering questions are now handled through WhatsApp and the menu page instead of the phone. This section will be updated with real figures once measured traffic and conversion data has built up.
